Dijaški dom Ivana Cankarja

Ivan Cankar youth hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood on Poljanska cesta 26, just a five-minute walk away from the exciting city center. While eating a delicious breakfast, with which all shapes, sizes, religions and beliefs will be provided for , you will have a beautiful view of the Ljubljana castle.

The hostel has a capacity of 160 rooms and 480 beds. The rooms have three beds, but for your comfort there will be only two persons in each room. The hostel offers a free wireless internet conection. So, during your stay you will have the possibility to report to your family daily all about the great time you are having.

There is also a fitness room, a shared kitchen, a seminar room and wash-room available to you any time.

Hotel Mons (Symposium)

The hotel and congress center Mons is the first design hotel in Slovenia. It is placed on a hill surrounded by woods, but still close to the center of Ljubljana. That is why it is known for it's slogan »in the embrace of nature«.

During your fabulous ten-day stay in Slovenia there will be two symposiums held at the hotel. The first day Gene therapy use or abuse and the next day Leadership in action. Six congress halls, three meeting rooms, equipped with state of the art technical equipment are just waiting for us to come and fill our minds with new facts that will be lectured to us by some of the best experts in these two areas.

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT

The congress centre, which includes halls with natural daylight, features state-of-the-art user-friendly technical equipment. Our highly professional staff, together with our network of external partners, ensure all-round organisation of events, including layout, know-how and implementation.

The foyer is suitable for a friendly welcome over an aromatic coffee, active lunches (buffet), exhibition space to accompany events organised in the halls, at exhibitions or pleasant evening get-togethers.

Faculty of Law (General Assembly)

GA’s will take place at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. The Faculty of Law is a modern facility, not more than 5 minutes away from our Hostel. It is situated near the Ljubljanica river. The Faculty has conference rooms, large enough for the GA’s to be held in.
